Job Description

Become part of an interdisciplinary team that is revolutionizing biomedical research! You will work at the intersection of biology, software development, and engineering, actively contributing to the development of innovative technologies. Together with the team, you will develop automated processes, improve biophysical methods, and create pioneering solutions for science. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to design concepts for the analysis and visualization of scientific data and implement them in practice.

• You will transform manual laboratory workflows into automated processes and develop concepts for scientific data analysis and visualization.
• You will implement functional prototypes in high-level device control software.
• You will improve and test systems as well as hardware and software components.
• You will collaborate interactively with team members and other teams to realize larger systems.
• You will document and present the results of data analysis and processing.

QUALIFICATIONS

• You have a degree in natural sciences, engineering, or a comparable field.
• Ideally, you have initial experience in cell separation, flow cytometry, cellular imaging, or cell biology.
• You have knowledge of scientific data visualization and fluent German and English skills, experience in Python or C/C++ is an advantage.
• You stand out with your analytical thinking, resilience, and proactivity.
• Your independent and structured working style, combined with a strong sense of teamwork, rounds off your profile.
