BIOPROCESSING SCIENTIST
£35,000 - £40,000
We are looking for an experienced Bioprocessing Scientist to join a dynamic and innovative team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a (GMP) environment, contributing directly to the production of pharmaceutical products.
Responsibilities:
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Bioprocessing Scientist, you will:
- Execute production processes using aseptic techniques to ensure the manufacture of high-quality sterile products
- Maintain compliance with GMP standards in a cleanroom environment
- Monitor and maintain the GMP facility, including routine cleaning and environmental monitoring
- Oversee stock control and inventory management, ensuring timely ordering and appropriate storage of materials
- Support technology transfer activities as new processes are introduced into manufacturing
- Perform thorough documentation and ensure data integrity in accordance with GMP practices
- Take part in root cause analysis and risk assessments
- Participate in planning to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
- Deliver high standards of compliance training to operational teams and collaborate with cross-functional departments
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
- A degree in a relevant scientific discipline with practical laboratory experience
- Proven experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with a preference for biologics or aseptic processes
- A strong understanding of GMP and aseptic manufacturing practices
- Practical experience in sample preparation and analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and an ability to work with electronic Quality Management Systems (eQMS
