Job Description

In this role you will …

• Deliver biosecurity surveillance monitoring for projects such as Fruit fly surveillance, National Invasive Ant Surveillance programme (NIAS), pest plant management and ecological restoration.
• Provide protection at high-risk sites such as private properties, farms, sea-ports, airports and transitional facilities
• Ensure quick accurate reporting at likely contamination points for pests and exotic species

• A strong health and safety focus
• Previous experience in Biosecurity is highly desirable but not essential.
• A full, clean New Zealand drivers licence is essentia
