While our kitchen delivers satisfying culinary delights, it’s the melodious allure of iconic jazz performances and the inviting ambiance of our well-curated bar that truly define the quintessential Birds Basement experience.
The Role:
We are searching for a Floor Supervisor & Waiter to be the welcoming face and guiding interaction throughout our guests experience with Bird’s. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring that the initial and lasting impression is positive, and that our guests experience the exceptional service for which were renowned, right from their first step into our venue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and Welcome: Ensure all guests are welcomed warmly and assisted promptly.
  • Reservation Management: Efficiently manage table reservations, premium package purchases, guest inquiries, and delivery of premium package elements during service.
  • Manager Waiters and Runners: Manage the team in their seating, taking orders and attending to VIP F&B service at our premium plus tables
  • Customer Interaction: Engage with customers professionally, both in-person and over the phone, ensuring all inquiries and communication are handled with grace and efficiency.
  • IT Management: Manage reservation, premium package and other relevant IT systems competently.
  • Maintain Aesthetics: Ensure the front desk and entrance area are always tidy and welcoming.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Appearance: Impeccable grooming and a consistent, warm smile.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills in English and exemplary phone manners.
  • Customer Service: Proven experience in a customer service role, with the ability to manage customer relations effectively.
  • IT Skills: Basic IT acumen, with ability to manage the detail in reservations and troubleshoot minor IT issues.

  • Working Hours: Availability to work from 3:30pm to 11:30pm, Wednesday - Saturday nights, with full working rights in Australi
