MAJOR FUNCTION: This position collaborates with the MCH Services Leadership team to ensure that all information required by the NJDOHSS Bureau of Vital Statistics Electronic Birth Certificate program and Paternity Opportunity Program is collected and accurately enters in the date to NJDOHSS EBC software program within the time frame mandated by NJDOHSS regulations. This position will perform all clerical, receptionist, and other assigned duties that are relevant to department. QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience: High School Diploma or GED required. Some College degree preferred. Ability to Use Microsoft Office and Excel software programs required. Minimum one- three years Health Care Clerical Support. Knowledge of medical terminology and state requirements for electronic birth statements and related items.
