Description A summer at Typhoon Texas in the Birthday Department truly is the Best Party Ever! Birthday Hosts serve as energetic party ambassadors who create unforgettable experiences for our guests. This role is responsible for warmly welcoming birthday parties, leading activities, and delivering exceptional customer service with a Texas-friendly attitude. Birthday Hosts ensure every guest enjoys a fun, safe, and memorable celebration by attentively supporting party needs, preparing birthday areas, delivering party items, and addressing guest concerns professionally and positively throughout the day. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Deliver outstanding customer service to all Typhoon Texas guests. Enthusiastically greet birthday parties and escort them to assigned birthday areas. Serve as the primary point of contact for birthday parents and guests during the party. Assist birthday guests throughout the duration of their party to ensure an engaging and memorable experience. Deliver pre-selected food and beverage items promptly and accurately. Prepare, clean, sanitize, and set up reserved birthday areas in accordance with established procedures. Assemble and prepare birthday materials, including cups, shirts, wristbands, tickets, and other party items. Maintain birthday and group storage areas by cleaning, organizing, and inventorying supplies. Verify that birthday party payments have been collected and notify leadership or management if assistance is needed. Reset birthday party areas promptly after each group has checked out. Maintain working knowledge of birthday packages, park attractions, food outlet locations, height restrictions, and general park information. Proactively identify operational or equipment issues and collaborate with leadership to resolve them when appropriate. Follow all Pyek Group and Typhoon Texas policies and procedures. Will need a Food Handlers Certification. Embody Typhoon Texas’s moment-making keys: intentionality, Texas-friendliness, safety, cleanliness, and fun. Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, Ability to lift and carry 20–50 lbs as required. Ability to work in varying weather conditions, including direct sunlight, high temperatures, and rain. Strong multitasking skills with flexibility in a fast-paced environment. Ability to communicate professionally and positively while working well with a team. Prior experience working with children is preferred.
