The Birthplace Business Clerk provides excellent customer service, maintaining a professional, yet positive approach while providing clerical and business support duties for the unit, including, but not limited to patient registration, insurance verification, obtaining preauthorization for services, scanning prenatal records, and scheduling c-sections.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School or GED or equivalent with one-year post high school education, required.
• Experience: Two years prior electronic medical record experience within a hospital/healthcare organization. Indepth knowledge of medical terminology required. Bilingual preferred.
• Work schedule: 7am - 7pm
