Bishop Hartley High School Vice Principal for Academics Full-time Catholic Required   Founded in 1957 by the Diocese of Columbus, Bishop Hartley High School is a Catholic, coed, college preparatory school serving east Columbus and its adjacent suburbs: Bexley, Whitehall, Canal Winchester, Pickerington, Reynoldsburg, and Gahanna. We are accredited by the Ohio Catholic School Accrediting Association and the State of Ohio. We exist to transform lives through the teachings of Jesus Christ within the Catholic tradition.   We implement our rigorous college preparatory curriculum in the context of a vibrant, diverse, and flourishing Catholic school community supported by our holistic approach to the formation of the human person, our thriving House System, and our foundational Six Pillars. Our most recent graduating class earned more than $18.5 million in academic scholarships and completed a total of 27,962 hours of service. In 2025-2026, enrollment exceeded 770 students, making the ratio of students to teachers approximately 14:1.   Candidates for this position must be an active, practicing Catholic and should possess a master’s degree and administrator’s license or be eligible to obtain one. A current FBI/BCI background check, attendance at the VIRTUS Protecting God’s Children seminar and a completed online principal application for the Diocese of Columbus must be submitted as part of the application process. Salary is commensurate with the candidate’s education and experience.
