Description Summary of Duties: Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision. Interact professionally with other team members, customers, and suppliers. Maintain strict privileged, proprietary, guest, and employer confidentiality during and beyond the term of my employment. Adhere to all work rules, policies & procedures, and safety standards. Position Purpose: To provide friendly and efficient food service to guests. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Check pantry to ensure adequate supply of seasonings and food items. Report any inventory shortages to the Food & Beverage Shift Manager. Prepare sauces, garnishes, and side dish items before they are needed. Prepare short order food items when they are ordered. Become familiar with preparing and pricing all menu items. Accept payment, make change, and operate point of sale system to record and track sales. Provide courteous, accurate, and efficient guest services. Follow all food safety ordinances and regulations. Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction. Monitor equipment and report any maintenance concerns as needed. Breakdown workstation and restock items for next shift. Comply with tip reporting procedures and Title 31 requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Education/Qualifications: Previous grill cook experience in a fast paced or high-volume establishment preferred. Must be at least 18 years old. Requires food handler’s permit. Requires liquor license. Licensing: Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Gaming License. Work Requirements: Requires problem solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively. Position involves prolonged walking, stooping, or bending, lifting, or carrying up to 50 pounds daily. Work is performed in a casino environment with varying levels of lighting, air quality, noise, and / or temperature. Acknowledgement: I have read and understand the above job description.
