Responsibilities: · Adhere to Marriott Use Records to consistently prepare and maintain the highest standards for all food, non-alcoholic, and alcoholic beverages. · Execute the preparation and handling of hot and cold food items with precision, adhering strictly to predetermined departmental and ServSafe standards. · Deliver professional and courteous guest service at all times, in alignment with brand standards, ensuring an exceptional dining experience. · Efficiently prepare food for the current shift and proactively assist in prepping for upcoming shifts as directed. · Collaborate in receiving vendor deliveries and ensure proper storage procedures are followed. · Maintain pristine cleanliness in both work and storage areas, prioritizing safety by reading and comprehending Safety Data Sheets (SDS). · Ensure the lobby is thoroughly cleaned and impeccably set up following each meal period, enhancing the overall guest experience. · Accommodate reasonable guest requests promptly and with a positive attitude. · Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships and effective collaboration within a diverse team environment. Requirements • Education or Experience- No high school diploma required; one-month related hospitality experience and/or training; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Working knowledge of computer. • Language Skills- Must have developed language skills to the point to be able to: read and comprehend instructions, safety rules and memos. Speak clearly, distinctly and with confidence using appropriate pauses, emphasis and punctuation. • Mathematical Skills- Requires mathematical development sufficient to be able to: add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure. • Reasoning Ability- Must have developed reasoning skills to be able to: apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to professionally deal with problems in standardized situations.
