OVERVIEW

The Duty Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel, providing exceptional guest services while leading and supervising the team. This position requires a proactive individual who can manage daily operations, resolve guest issues, and maintain high standards of hospitality. The Duty Manager will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment and ensuring that all guests have an enjoyable experience during their stay. This is a hands on role, based in hotel Bistro mainly, but you may be called to other Departments. A mature, calm approach is needed.

SKILLS

  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Bistro & Restaurant experience essential.
  • Strong background in guest services within the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent supervisory skills to manage staff effectively.
  • Knowledge of human resources practices relevant to the hospitality sector.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with guests and staff professionally.
  • A passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
