Description Red Pulley Technology Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt to support the Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) Improvement Sciences Directorate. This role supports Navy Medicine’s mission to improve operational readiness through standardized process improvement, project execution, and data-driven decision-making across geographically distributed commands. The Black Belt will execute Continuous Process Improvement initiatives, support project delivery, and apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies across commands with varying levels of Improvement Sciences maturity. Location: Falls Church, VA (Hybrid) Clearance: Active Secret (Preferred) Employment Type: Full-Time Status: Contingent Upon Contract Award Requirements Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in process improvement, CPI, or Lean Six Sigma Demonstrated experience applying CPI/Lean Six Sigma within healthcare environments Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt with evidence of continuous practice since certification Experience applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies across all elements of the ASQ Body of Knowledge (BOK) or equivalent framework (e.g., NCQA) Experience working in multi-site or distributed operational environments Active DoD Secret Clearance Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting DHA, BUMED, or military healthcare programs Experience mentoring and certifying Black Belts and Green Belts Familiarity with GRGB or Continuous Process Improvement frameworks Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools Experience supporting SharePoint or knowledge management platforms Key Responsibilities Execute Lean Six Sigma initiatives using DMAIC methodology Conduct process mapping, root cause analysis, and workflow redesign Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support improvement initiatives Develop and track KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics Support project planning, scheduling, and execution activities Prepare reports, briefings, and documentation for leadership Facilitate improvement workshops and stakeholder sessions Support sustainment through control plans and performance monitoring Contribute to knowledge management systems including SharePoint Travel: Approximately 15 percent is required to support project execution, training, site assessments, and initiative implementation. Locations include: Naval Medical Forces Atlantic (NMFL), Portsmouth, VA Naval Medical Forces Pacific (NMFP), San Diego, CA Naval Medical Forces Development Command (NMFDC), San Antonio, TX Naval Medical Readiness and Training Commands and Units within the continental United States and overseas Travel is planned and coordinated in advance and aligned to project milestones.
