Job Description Summary This individual is responsible for supporting production with blade/web movements, blade loading and offloading. This individual also loads and offloads blade transportation frames. Accounts for blade inventory, transport frame inventory, and maintains the exterior of the facility. This team supports every department in the facility. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Move blades using various equipment for one station to another. Use a wide variety of material handling equipment to position and load blade parts and completed blades. Assure blades are braced and strapped per customer specifications. Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials, and unusual conditions. Wear designated personal protective equipment and follow all health and safety guidelines. Comply with prescribed safety procedures and federal laws regulating the waste disposal and shipment of hazardous materials. Maintain 5s standards. Required Qualifications Ability to carry objects or materials up to 30lbs. Ability to stand for extended periods of time on concrete floors. Ability to make quick or repeated movement (holding, reaching, twisting, bending) with hands, arms, legs, or body. May require usage of respirator Desired Characteristics High School Diploma/GED or related job experience. Previous Manufacturing experience Experience operating a forklift or other heavy equipment.
