We are hiring a 1st shift CDL Driver for our Trailer Shop. This position is responsible for the driving / moving of a wide variety of heavy-duty trucks/ trailers/ equipment in a safe, professional, and timely manner. As well as assisting shops as needed. The schedule is 1st shift 7am-4pm Monday thru Friday approx. 40-60 hours per week. WAGE RANGE: $30- $35/hr ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Picking up and delivering customer’s trailers(trucks when needed) throughout the metro and some runs further as needed, 1-1.5 hours away from shop. Maintain cleanliness(exterior and interior), fueling, DVIR’s of our company truck. Pre-trips of all units being picked up/delivered. Communication with customers regarding units picked up/delivered as needed. Ability to use company cell phone with Smartsheet. Parts picks up, assisting techs in shop, maintain a clean shop, clean customer vehicles. Inspect the overall condition of Truck to ensure that they meet U.S. Department of Transportation's safety requirements. Compile inspection reports detailing their findings Ensure the final work product meets quality standard Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and co-workers Requirements We'd love to have you as part of our team.
