Description We are looking for a skilled Blaster to join our Fabrication team. In this role, you will prepare metal parts and welded assemblies by blasting surfaces to remove rust, dirt, and other contaminants. Your work ensures that all parts meet quality standards before moving to the next step in the production process. This position supports our mission to deliver high-quality products to the oil & gas, marine, and energy industries. Schedule: Monday through Friday 6am to 2:30pm | Occasional Saturdays 6am to 12pm Accountabilities: Stage metal parts and welded assemblies for blasting. Operate blasting equipment to clean and prepare sheet metal surfaces. Remove scale, rust, grease, and other materials using abrasive blasting techniques. Inspect blasted parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Safely unload and organize cleaned parts for the next step in production. Maintain and clean blasting equipment as needed. Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe at all times. Meet or exceed production timelines and quality expectations. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or GED, required. Experience: 2+ years of blasting or painting experience in a commercial or industrial setting, required. Experience with spray application techniques and equipment Familiarity with primers, epoxies, urethanes, and other industrial coatings preferred Skills & Abilities: Able to work independently and follow safety and quality procedures Experience using blasting tools and equipment (e.g., blast pot, dust collector, recovery unit) Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail Ability to read and understand work instructions and basic drawing Basic math skills (add, subtract, measure) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and reaching Safety Focus: Prioritize safety in all actions.
