Position Summary: Position that sandblasts and assist painters with duties in the paint shop   Job Description: * Operates cleaning equipment and prepares equipment for painting * Determines strength and pattern of blast require * Assembles primer and places primer with main charge in hole or near object to be blasted * Assists with paint compliance logs * Verify paint thickness and blast anchor patterns * Ability to be certified to drive a forklift * Follows all relevant HSE guidelines * Promotes and supports safety, production, and a positive attitude * Must be able to work with the team in developing improved work processes for the department Required Test: * None   Preferred Education and Experience: * High school diploma or equivalent or equivalent preferred and/or training * Minimum one (1) years industrial experience     Physical Strain: * Bending, squatting, climbing, pulling, stooping, twisting, reaching, working at elevated heights * Lifting up to 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 30 pounds * Must comply with all OSHA regulations regarding paint safety procedures * Must be able to work outside in extreme temperatures or in a shop environment
