- Certification from a Vocational school or trade school is preferred
- 5 years’ experience on Marine, Ship Repair & Industrial sector
- Ability to communicate effectively work independently or in a group
- Ability to communicate in English or Hindi
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
- Needs to be familiar with safety standards

Responsibilities:
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Fabrication supervisor will be responsible for scheduling and overseeing the day-to-day activities of the fabricators and the workers. He will ensure adherence to contract specifications and established policies and procedures while applying appropriate safety techniques of the work performed onboard the ships and on-site jobs. He will play a critical role in ensuring that successful and safe work is performed onboard the vessel and various projects. He also liaises between the workers and the upper management.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- To supervise and lead the team by managing the daily activities of the blasting and painting crew. Ensure team members work efficiently, safely, and are provided with appropriate resources for task completion.
- To ensure compliance with safety standards by making sure all team members adhere to safety protocols and regulations. Conduct regular safety meetings, toolbox talks, and oversee the proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and other safety gear.
- To monitor quality and work progress by inspecting blasting and painting work to ensure it meets project specifications and industry standards. Perform regular checks on surface preparation and coating applications to ensure the work is completed on time and within budget.
- To maintain equipment and tools by ensuring blasting and painting equipment is properly maintained, regularly inspected, and in good working condition. Report any equipment malfunctions or required repairs to management promptly. Manage the inventory of materials and equipment effectively.
