At STI Polymer, You Drive. We Navigate. Job Description: We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Blend Technicians to join our dynamic team. This role is essential for maintaining the quality and efficiency of our polymer production process. Key Responsibilities: Weighing and preparing raw materials accurately according to specifications. Operating and monitoring equipment to drain reactor vessels. Filtering and ensuring the quality of finished goods. Packaging finished polymer with detailed attention to safety and standards. Regularly lifting materials up to 50 pounds. Maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures. - Employees will train on 1st shift for approximately 45 days before moving to 2nd or 3rd shift. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Good basic math skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Ability to safely operate a forklift. Must be able to wear a full-face respirator mask. Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required. Ability to bend, stoop, push/pull, and climb stairs. Completion of Predictive Index assessment.
Responsibilities
The Blend Technician is responsible for accurately weighing and preparing raw materials, operating and monitoring equipment to drain reactor vessels, and filtering finished goods. Key duties also include packaging the final polymer while strictly adhering to safety standards and maintaining a clean work environment.
