Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As a Blender, you are responsible for preparing and mixing raw materials according to specified formulas and procedures to support manufacturing operations. This role ensures the consistent and accurate blending of ingredients, follows safety and sanitation guidelines, and maintains detailed records of production activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Measure, weigh, and load raw materials into blenders or mixing equipment according to batch recipes and production instructions.
  • Operate blending machinery and related equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor mixing process and adjust equipment settings to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Document batch records, lot numbers, and material usage accurately.
  • Perform quality checks, pull samples and report any deviations or irregularities.
  • Clean and sanitize blending equipment and work area in accordance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines.
  • Assist with inventory management of raw materials and ingredients.
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet production schedules and standards.
  • Perform complex tank, hose/line connections to redirect flows.
  • Troubleshoot valves, pumps, meters, solenoids, and valve matrix.
  • Perform tasks in outside tanker unloading, enter confined spaces.
  • Cross train in other jobs as needed.
  • Regular attendance required.
  • Perform any other duties assigned.
  • Active participation of the plant safety program is required.
