The schedule is Monday – Thursday, 6am to 4:30pm, giving you a three-day weekend! Position Overview: This position is responsible for leading and executing the blending of MicroCare products while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. You will provide technical expertise, support training of production staff, and serve as a resource for troubleshooting blending and packaging processes. This role contributes directly to achieving production goals, maintaining regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Review production schedules, batch tickets, and raw material requirements; coordinate preparation of blending activities to ensure timely execution. 2. Independently blend complex formulations in compliance with cGMP, SOPs, and MicroCare standards, ensuring consistency and accuracy in all products. 3. Serve as a subject matter expert to troubleshoot blending issues, escalating to Production Supervisor or Lab/Quality as needed. 4. Verify accuracy of batch records, COA testing samples, weights, and lot traceability; ensure documentation is complete and audit-ready. 5. Coordinate with Lab and Quality Assurance to resolve testing variances or discrepancies. 6. Ensure proper transfer, packaging, labeling, lot tracking, and storage of finished blends; oversee compliance with regulatory and customer requirements. 7. Monitor tank and equipment cleanliness; coordinate preventive maintenance and cleaning schedules in compliance with regulatory requirements. 8. Prepare raw materials prior to blending and ensure proper cleanup and storage following batch production. 9. Support implementation of process improvements, equipment upgrades, and new product introductions within blending. 10. Provide input to Production Supervisor on resource needs, efficiency opportunities, and production planning. 11. Update and maintain accurate production inventory and quality control records in Chempax. 12. Disassemble, clean, reassemble, and set up all required equipment; make light mechanical adjustments to ensure optimal operation. 13. Perform sanitation of tanks and rooms, move empty drums/totes/bins for disposal or storage. 14. Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment for stock rotation of raw goods and other tasks. 15. Actively promote and model safe work practices, participate in safety audits and trainings, and encourage an incident-free workplace. 16. Perform other duties as directed to support production and company objectives. COMPETENCIES/EXPERIENCE: · Strong understanding of blending processes, documentation standards, and regulatory compliance · Ability to train, mentor, and coach production staff · Advanced math and measurement skills, with strong attention to accuracy · Effective communication and organizational skills · Problem-solving mindset with ability to troubleshoot blending and equipment issues · Strong technical skills Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
