Description Job Title: Blender Operator/Sanitation Reports To: Department Supervisor FLSA Status: Hourly Non-Exempt 1st Shift Hours: Monday-Friday 6:30am-3:00pm Overtime required based on production need. $16.25/hour Operates mixing machine to blend ingredients into compounds for processing by performing the following duties: Other duties may be assigned. Loads ingredients into mixing tank and/or blender. Starts machine and adjusts valves and devices in mixing chamber to aid in blending and densifying mixture. Operates machine until mixture reaches desired consistency, and turns lever or pushes button to unload mixture into hoppers. Cleans and sanitizes blender and/or hopper. Clean and sanitize drains and floors. Uses chemicals and equipment to sanitize and clean multiple areas. Disassembles, sanitizes, and cleans other production equipment. Transports trash and waste to disposal area. In certain areas, sorts and place leftover pallets in designated area at end of the shift. Assists in other positions when needed.
