We are looking for someone to join our team to fit and make blinds. We are a small, family business based in Newton Aycliffe. If you don’t have experience in fitting blinds but have some relevant transferrable skills then we still want to hear from you. Think window fitter, kitchen fitter, fitted wardrobes, handyman or anything along those lines. Full training will be provided.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in blind installation is preferred (though not required as full training will be provided)
• Interest in developing knowledge and expertise in blinds
• Clean driving license (own vehicle not required as a van will be supplied to visit customers)
• Willing to learn the different tools we use to operate our business

• Visiting customers homes or businesses to install blinds
• Develop in-depth knowledge of our products in to order to advise to customers where required
• Provide an excellent level of customer service
• Relaying customer’s feedback back to the management team
• Manufacturing blinds (building headrails, operating the louvre machine etc.)
• Taking and processing deliveries (incoming and outgoing)
• Providing support and cover for other members of staff in the factory when needed
