Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

We seek a Blockchain QA & Monitoring Engineer to ensure the reliability, performance, and quality of blockchain node APIs and infrastructure. You will blend quality assurance rigor with automated monitoring to proactively identify issues, validate service integrity, and empower stakeholders with actionable insights. No manual QA—this role focuses on engineering robust systems to safeguard uptime, accuracy, and scalability in decentralized networks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Quality Assurance & Monitoring:
  • Maintain and enhance Grafana dashboards, Prometheus metrics, and Loki logs to monitor blockchain node health, API uptime, and performance (e.g., JSON-RPC latency, error rates).
  • Develop automated test suites in Go (primary) or TypeScript/Python to validate API functionality, data consistency, and edge-case behavior (e.g., using k6 for load testing).
  • Define and enforce quality benchmarks (SLOs/SLIs) for blockchain services, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations.
  • New Chain Integration Support:
  • Extend monitoring frameworks and test coverage to onboard new blockchain networks, ensuring seamless compatibility and quality standards.
  • Innovation in QA Automation:
  • Build LLM-driven agentic tools to automate anomaly detection, root-cause analysis, and alert prioritization.
  • Design proactive systems to detect regressions, data discrepancies, and performance degradation.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Partner with node operators and engineers to triage issues, refine monitoring rules, and improve service reliability.
  • Generate clear, actionable reports to drive rapid resolution of critical incidents.
