We are currently looking for a full time B.O. P. Service Technician based in Clairmont, Alberta.
The position will involve servicing oilfield rental equipment in our state-of-the-art facility and some field work. This position is a Monday-Friday 8 AM – 5PM rotation with occasional weekend work and overtime as needed. The successful candidate will be responsible to follow all safety polices and procedures in their daily work activities and must be able to pass pre-employment screening. McClelland Oilfield Rentals Ltd is willing to train the right, self motivated candidate for this position. Persons with experience in this field will be given preference.
Daily Activities:
· pressure testing, functioning and recording data on equipment
· Assembly and disassembly of BOP’s and related equipment
· Fielding customer requests and troubleshooting B.O.P.’s and related equipment.
· servicing and repairing equipment on location when required.
· Forklift operation to load and unload trucks in the yard and handle equipment.
· Crane operation to handle equipment.
· Inventory and Q.A. control of B.O.P. parts room
· Quality Control of McClelland Rentals equipment
· Assembling rental equipment orders
