THE POSITION:

We are currently looking for Senior Blowmolding Operators who care to go that extra mile in making a meaningful and positive impact on the health, well-being and lives of our workforce, partners, local and global communities.

Experience:

  • mold changeover: 1 year (preferred)
  • Blowmolding Operator: 3 years (preferred
Responsibilities

This position would have you working our blowmolding production line. Functions include:

  • Inspect and package completed product including visually identifying bottle defects and ensuring quality specifications are met.
  • Monitor resin feed.
  • Move finished product to storage warehouse and prepare for shipping.
  • Grind excess bottle and material; stop machine as needed.
  • Adhere to quality control and to blow mould process procedure.
  • Perform line set-ups and product changeovers (including mold changes) as required.
  • Ensure production targets are being met during your shift.
  • Record reasons for any down time and allotment of lost hours. Down time exceeding 15 minutes is to be reported to the Shift Supervisor so that corrective measures can be taken without delay.
  • Intervene at Trimmer as needed.
  • Ensure work orders are turned in when complete and accurate.
  • Ensure products are meeting quality standards.
  • Report all safety concerns to the Shift Supervisor.
  • Ensure cleanliness of the line and general area around line is maintained at all times and at the end of the shift. This includes ensuring exit aisles are kept clear.
  • Must follow all safety procedures including wearing appropriate safety and hygienic attire.
  • Must ensure all SOPs are being followed.
  • Perform special tasks such as re-cooping or rework on non-conforming product.
  • Clean up work area at the end of the production runs and remove and restore production materials to appropriate storage areas.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Physical stamina is required. You will be standing for long stretches of time. Must be able to lift, push/pull 25 lbs.

Pay: $18.00-$22.50 per hour
