We are a large-scale 24/7 operation with over 300 employees and 130 vehicles, providing service from our headquarters in Pleasantville, NJ and two satellite locations in Vineland and Cherry Hill. WHAT YOU’LL DO As a BLS Dispatcher, you will play a key role as the first line of response in emergency and non-emergency calls. • Coordinate the work and activities of EMTs, First Responders and Nurses during emergency and non-emergency transports • Be courteous and professional to patients, facility employees, co-workers, supervisors and the public at all times • Receive, prioritize and dispatch calls in computer aided dispatch software (CAD) • Intake large volume of calls and determine appropriate level of EMS responsible required • Operate radio communication device, multi-line telephone system and various computer systems WHAT YOU’LL NEED • Open availability – we are a 24/7 operation so hours will vary • Dispatch experience is preferred but not required • Proficient computer skills • Excellent communication skills • Ability to work in high pressure situations • Clean background check • Negative drug screening PERKS • Competitive compensation $20.00-24.00 based on experience • Benefits package (Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance) Health Benefits starting at $10.00 weekly • Paid time off (PTO) • 401(k) after 6 months of service • Opportunities for growth and advancement • $5000 Tuition Reimbursement JOB TYPE: Full-time Day shift 7a -7p TriCare Medical Transportation is an Equal Opportunity Employer Requirements BLS Dispatcher
