This position is offered on a part time (16 hours per week), self-employed contract covering Croydon. (Hybrid role - 60% on street, 40% home/office based)
The main duties of this role will include:
· Investigating leads from the council about the misuse of blue badges
· On street identification of blue badge misuse
· Produce monthly reports
· Arrange proactive operations with the police and other agencies
· Prepare criminal cases for traffic offences or fraud
· Attend court as a witness
· Contract management
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
· Previous career within the police, including traffic law enforcement
o or previous experience as a civil enforcement officer
· Computer literate (SharePoint, teams, excel, word)
