We are looking to add a BMS Commissioning Technician to lead commissioning, ensure seamless system installations, and support project teams. You will play a key role in resource planning, forecasting, and delivering high-level technical support while acting as a bridge between clients and project management. The role will be based in Cardiff with 80% of working week on site, therefore we’re looking for candidate who are able to travel to the site.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE WILL INVOLVE SYSTEM DESIGN & PROGRAMMING, I.E:

Support BMS system configurations using JCI Metasys, EasyIO, and Niagara Framework
Develop software programs, set up alarms, and integrate BMS with HVAC, lighting, and security systems.
The primary scope of this role centers around project management and commissioning, such as:
Lead site teams, oversee installation, testing, and commissioning.
Ensure systems are fully functional, troubleshoot issues, and optimise performance.
Prepare project documentation and manage commissioning reports.
You’ll play a key role in client and team support by collaborating closely with project managers, contractors, and clients, while also providing training to end-users and facility management teams to ensure smooth project handover and ongoing success.
