Description:

A Successful and well established maintenance and installation company are looking to recruit an experienced BMS Service engineer.
Role Profile
We are looking for an experienced mobile BMS service engineer who has a dynamic and flexible approach to working with the clients. This person needs to be able to work well with others but also be dynamic enough to manage their own time ensuring that the sites are operating as efficiently as they can.
Daily Tasks to Include (but not limited to):
+ Liaison with relevant site engineers or maintenance teams
+ Completing PPM tasks
+ Completing remedial works
+ Completing any reactive calls
+ Completing service/call out reports
Duties of the role will include:
As a BMS Engineer, you will be part of a small team for all technical service issues, responsible for trouble shooting and resolving issues on HVAC plant and lighting controls, following service agreements and customer needs.

Requirements for the role are:

  • Experienced in diagnosis and repairs of systems malfunctions for BMS equipment which includes sensors, transducers, control panels.
  • Proven track record of understanding and analysing technical documents for electrical and mechanical engineering
  • Working knowledge of Building Management Systems and Controls for OEM’s
  • Able to upload BMS Controller software and interpret accurately.
  • In depth knowledge of Building HVAC Systems, such as Boilers, Chillers AHU’s etc.
  • Experience in BMS project installation & commissioning.
  • Knowledge of lighting controls would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Trend and Tridium experience would be an advantage but not necessary.

Essential Requirements:

  • MUST have excellent mechanical plant knowledge
  • MUST have an excellent electrical knowledge
  • BMS Engineer for 3 years
  • Electrical installation with controls experience

Must be happy with travelling and working away when required.
excellent overtime rates are applicable
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £48,000.00-£54,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Newcastle upon Tyne: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • Electrical Engineering: 3 years (preferred)
  • BMS: 3 years (preferred)
