Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced BMS Operator to join our Facilities Management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, operating, and maintaining the Building Management System (BMS) to ensure optimal performance of building systems and energy efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in operating and maintaining BMS systems in UAE/GCC.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Siemens, Honeywell, Schneider, Johnson Controls, or equivalent BMS systems.
  • Good understanding of MEP systems integration.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic reporting tools.
  • Willingness to work in shifts and on-call duty as required.
Responsibilities
  • Monitor, operate, and control the Building Management System (BMS) for all MEP, HVAC, lighting, and other integrated systems.
  • Ensure smooth and efficient functioning of all building automation systems. * Conduct routine checks and system monitoring to identify alarms, faults, or abnormal conditions.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to rectify breakdowns, faults, or emergency issues.
  • Perform minor troubleshooting of BMS-related issues and escalate complex problems to the supervisor/engineer.
  • Maintain daily logs, reports, and documentation of system performance and incidents.
  • Support energy efficiency initiatives by monitoring system performance and optimizing operations.
  • Assist in preventive maintenance schedules and participate in shutdown/startup activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and client requirements.
