ACCOUNTING CLERK  We are seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team in a fast-paced work environment. This position will provide support across various accounting functions, with a focus on Accounts Payable, reconciliations, financial record keeping, and other accounting-related duties as required. WORK EXPERIENCE * Minimum three (3) years of experience in high-volume Accounts Payable processing and general accounting functions preferred. * Experience with vendor setup, W-9 requirements, and maintaining accurate vendor records.  * Experience processing invoices, managing vendor accounts, reconciling statements, and ensuring timely payment processing. * Experience with account reconciliations, journal entries, and maintaining accurate financial records. * Experience investigating and resolving invoice, payment, and account discrepancies. * Knowledge and experience using office equipment, including computers, scanners, copiers, and other administrative tools. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word; experience with Outlook is preferred. * Strong data entry skills, including proficiency with 10-key. * Previous dealership accounting experience and familiarity with relevant accounting software (such as Reynolds & Reynolds) is an asset but not required. * Experience with vehicle licensing, registrations, or related dealership documentation is an asset but not required. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS * High school diploma or equivalent required. * Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. * Equivalent accounting or business experience may be considered. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS * Ability to accurately process, reconcile, and manage high-volume invoice transactions while ensuring vendor payment due dates are met. * Ability to reconcile vendor statements and follow up on outstanding discrepancies in a timely manner. * Strong attention to detail with the ability to review, verify, and maintain accurate financial information.. * Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines. * Excellent organizational skills with the ability to compile, track, maintain, and organize financial records and documentation. * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally with vendors, internal departments, and team members. * Effective listening skills with the ability to follow detailed verbal and written instructions. * Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. * Flexible, dependable, and willing to learn and support various accounting functions. * Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment. * Proficient filing and record management skills, including alphabetical and numerical filing systems. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. * Ability and willingness to assist with vehicle licensing and registration processes as required. * Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information.
