Description

Zoetis BV is currently looking for a BNNI Controller.
The Finance Controller BNNI is responsible for leading the financial reporting and controlling functions across the BNNI region, ensuring compliance with US GAAP (and Dutch GAAP), local statutory requirements, and internal policies. This includes managing period-end close activities, coordinating with Zoetis Finance Shared Services (ZFS), and maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial data. The role plays a key part in upholding a strong internal control environment and ensuring timely, high-quality financial reporting.
In addition to cluster responsibilities, the role provides critical support to the Senior Finance Manager NL by acting as a back-up for the Dutch holding companies. This includes assisting with statutory reporting, audits, tax compliance, and other regulatory obligations. The position is designed to enhance continuity, support succession planning, and reinforce operational resilience within the local finance function.
By combining strategic oversight with hands-on execution, the Finance Controller BNNI ensures financial governance, process standardization, and business partnership across the cluster, while also safeguarding the continuity of core financial operations in the Netherlands.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 10 years post qualification experience, preferably in a regional or cluster role.
  • Strong knowledge and experience working with US GAAP and Dutch GAAP (indispensable)
  • Strong knowledge and experience managing Dutch Holding companies (essential)
  • Experience in the Pharmaceuticals / Animal Health industry (essential)
  • Knowledge of multi-national financial reporting requirements
  • Knowledge of SAP and automated financial and accounting reporting systems
  • Experience owning an accounting function within a large corporation
  • Strong understanding of statutory reporting, tax compliance, and internal controls.
  • Proficient in English, proficiency in Dutch is a plus (role is based in The Netherlands)
  • People management experience preferred

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR DUTCH HOLDING COMPANIES SUPPORT :

Provide back-up and continuity support for the Senior Finance Manager NL, particularly in managing the Dutch holding companies’ statutory and tax responsibilities with special focus on the following key areas:

  • Ensure compliance with Dutch GAAP, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Handle complex intercompany transactions, capital flows, dividend distributions, and transfer pricing.
  • Coordinate closely with tax advisors, auditors, and legal teams to maintain compliance and optimize the holding structure.
  • Provide strategic insights on cash management, funding, and corporate structuring from a holding company perspective.
  • Maintain accuracy, transparency, and alignment with global financial policies and corporate objectives.
