Register Behavioral Analyst
Duties:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine the needs of clients with special needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client goals and objectives
- Provide therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and other therapeutic modalities
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as psychologists, psychiatrists, and educators, to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Monitor client progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
- Document client sessions and maintain accurate records of treatment progress
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research in behavioral therapy and incorporate new techniques into practice
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field
- Certification or licensure in behavioral therapy or a related discipline is required
- Experience working with individuals with special needs, particularly autism spectrum disorder
- Knowledge of psychopharmacology and its impact on behavioral health
- Familiarity with special education principles and practices
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with clients of all ages
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines in therapy sessions
