Description

We are currently seeking a dynamic Full Time (BCBA) Clinicians or BCBA to join our team at our office in West Palm Beach, Florida . The BCBA Clinician or Licensed Behavioral Therapist will be responsible ensure oversight and review of behavior analysis services to members with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) or ADHD.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

  • Minimum of a Master’s/Bachelor’s degree preferred in a mental health field

Licensure: * Must be a BCBA/BCABA

Relevant Work Experience: * 1-2 years of clinical experience in home based treatment providing Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy to children diagnosed with ASD or ADHD

  • Possess clinical, medical utilization review and/or quality assurance experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: * Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Provide evaluation, authorization and determination of appropriate levels of care based on established medical necessity criteria.
  • Review BCBA assessments submitted by providers for adherence to ASD “best practice” guidelines or ADHD
  • Coordinate outpatient and inpatient discharge planning with the practitioner to assure continuity of care
  • Act as a liaison with parents and the healthcare community to ensure continuum of care and support for members
  • Arrange authorization of consults when necessary
  • Verify member coverage and advise all parties involved of the implications for treatment
  • Participate in care coordination rounds with medical director to promote integrated case discussions and problem-solving.
