Description
The BCBA serves the Specialized Needs Unit (SNU) by assuming responsibility for supporting the behavioral team in the development of behavior plans, behavioral analysis of selected target behaviors, education of staff in plan procedures, and supporting the family/caregiver behavioral training program. In addition, responsible for the integrity of all behavioral data needed for patient care. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Enhances the delivery of effective and measurable behavioral treatment to patients. Maintains and improves clinical data feedback loops between direct care staff and the clinical staff. Data collection forms, procedures, monitoring and analysis. May delegate certain data entry functions as needed, but remains responsible for the integrity of all program behavioral data. Assists in the development of behavioral assessment and behavioral treatment protocols under the guidance of the Program Manager for Special Needs Unit. Performs formal behavioral analysis procedures for selected target behaviors. Coordinates behavioral assessment and treatment protocols for all patients Models and teaches behavioral plans to staff, families, and caregivers. Prepares and maintains data collection sheets, other clinical data forms, graphing and data analysis for patients. Documents services provided Supports the family/caregiver training program including scheduling sessions and facilitating effective training of family/caregivers. Consults other departments as appropriate to collaborate on patient care and performance improvement activities. Master's degree in Social Work or related field required Certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board as a Board Certified Analyst required. Minimum one (1) year experience in the provision of behavioral analysis and behavior analytic treatment Strong verbal and written communication skills Demonstrates critical thinking and organizational skills for the development and delivery of training programs Must have experience with coordinating and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team Teaching and training skills are required A full benefits package is available the first of the month following 30 days of employment.
