What will your day look like as a BCBA? Assess clients’ and potential clients’ current skill level and challenging behaviors. Develop evidence-based treatment plans for teaching social, communication, and life skills, as well as reducing challenging behaviors. Supervise treatment cases to ensure best treatment practices, client progress, and appropriate modifications to programming. Train and supervise behavior technicians to work with clients. Work one-on-one with children diagnosed with autism and their caregivers to enrich their lives by providing exceptional therapy and family guidance services and support. Requirements Master’s Degree from an accredited university in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field Board Certified as a Behavioral Analyst through the BACB Licensed or license eligible as a Behavior Analyst through the state of North Carolina.
Responsibilities
