JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. This role will start as a BCBA in the Somerville Public
Schools District and transition to a Clinical Supervisor for our MA Behavioral Branch. As we work together to grow our partnerships with School Districts in Massachusetts, we expect your caseload to expand as well, eventually into a full time role. As part of our growing clinical team in Massachusetts, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and expanding our services.

Responsibilities

DISTRICT BCBA RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) based on assessment data
  • Collaborate with special education teams, classroom staff, and related service providers to implement positive behavior supports
  • Train, coach, and support school staff (e.g., teachers, paraprofessionals, RBTs) in implementing behavior strategies and data collection procedures
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of behavior-related goals and services

CLINICAL SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monthly CEUs: Participate in 60-minute Continuing Education Units each month
  • Administrative Meetings: Attend regional admin meetings regularly
  • RBT Cohorts and Supervision: Support and/or lead training cohorts during summer and winter break periods. Support providers (Paraprofessionals and Behavior Techs) as they become RBT’s and provide supervision.
  • Incident Reporting/Case Support: Manage and respond to provider incident reports as needed. Provide mentorship and ABA coaching to providers (Paras, BT’s, RBT’s) increasing their skillset and abilities to positively support students, and to take preventative measures.
  • Referral Development: Build and maintain relationships with school districts. Develop caseloads and increase referrals through strong community connections.
  • On-Call BCBA Support: Provide on-call support for our team. This will begin with your leadership and expand as we grow.
  • Regional Growth: Act as a clinical expert in behavioral health to help us establish and grow our presence in Massachusetts. Contribute to mentoring and leading clinical teams as we scale.
  • Contracted BCBA Roles: Work as a contracted BCBA within school districts. Potential opportunities to work on FBA’s or IEP’s, participating in IEP meetings as requested by the district, etc.
