Responsibilities

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, WE ARE SEEKING CANDIDATES WHO POSSESS:

  • Master’s Degree in educational, psychology, human development or a related field, valid Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
  • ABA services and supervision as required by position and/or funding sources, and three (3) years’ experience working with the developmentally disabled population with an emphasis on severe behaviors
  • Prefer prior experience and/or training with positive behavior supports as well as hands-on emergency behavior management techniques (i.e. Pro-Act, CPI, ABA, Assaultive Behavior Safety Training - ABST, Positive Approaches to Behavior Strategies - PABS)
  • An acceptable driving record, California class C driver’s license, and provide proof of insurability of personal vehicle.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Conducts client assessments and intakes, including functional behavioral assessments, Adaptive Behavior Support Plans (BIPs), data collection forms, progress reports, and documentation required by funding sources.
  • Oversees and supports RBTs, including training, supervision, performance evaluations, paperwork review, and service provision across all settings.
  • Schedules and coordinates client services in collaboration with the Operations Manager.
  • Provides direct ABA services and supports as needed in home, community, and clinical settings, including instruction, data collection, behavior support, and emergency interventions.
  • Serves as a liaison to families, social workers, group homes, funding personnel, and other stakeholders.
  • Advocates for and protects client welfare, addressing medical, personal, social, and individual needs.
  • Participates in and may lead meetings related to client services and ABA programs.
