FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

This is a full time employe or contract position to provide a comprehensive spectrum of behavioral health, mental health, addiction management and pain management services in our outpatient integrated specialty medical clinic. Care will be delivered primarily in-person, though limited telehealth may be utilized.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Engage in direct, competent psychiatric patient care
• Select, order, perform and interpret diagnostic tests to correctly diagnose patients
• Clearly communicate with patients, families, peers, staff and administrators
• Maintain up to date knowledge and abilities related to current medical practices.
  · Confidently and appropriately manage psychiatric medication
  · Interprofessional collaboration with other providers in our practice and within our community to administer the highest quality care to our patients

· Professional decorum and good “bedside manner”

• Technologically competent to document findings and treatment course in EMR with adequate training
• Must have current malpractice policy with coverage for prior acts with annual policy limits of at least $1 million per incident/$3 million combined

EXPERIENCE:

• A minimum of one-year experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner is required. Preference in the hiring process will be given to applicants with more experience.
