OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. This role is essential in providing comprehensive mental health care to our patients. We provide advanced psychiatric services including TMS, Spravato, brain mapping with spectral EEG and much more. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in psychiatric care, along with experience in diverse settings including addiction treatment. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Master’s degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Current certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
  • Strong clinical skills with experience in areas such as behavioral health, acute care, geriatrics, pediatrics, or emergency medicine.
  • Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Athenahealth is preferred.
  • Experience administering injections, IV infusion, phlebotomy, and performing physical examinations.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9 & ICD-10), CPT coding, and medical documentation practices.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment while demonstrating strong communication skills.
  • Experience with telehealth services is a plus.
    This job provides great flexibility in practice as it is a “1099 Contract” position. For a Psychiatric provider who wants “Part time” hours or a provider who wants “Full-time Plus hours we can accommodate scheduling and case load to allow for excellent Work-Life Balance. Credentialing is a 3-4 month process so Start date would likely be January 2026. We will also have W-2 employment options for PMHNP’s upcoming in January with full benefit package.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients of all ages.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and evidence-based practices.
  • Administer medications and monitor patient responses to pharmacological treatments.
  • Provide psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals, families, and groups.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Participate in clinical research initiatives to advance mental health practices.
  • Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.
  • Stay current with advancements in psychiatric care, including psychopharmacology and behavioral health interventions.
