Elbit Systems is an international high-technology company engaged in a wide range of programs worldwide, primarily in the defense and homeland security sectorsWe develop and supply a broad portfolio of advanced airborne, land, and naval systems   We are seeking a Hardware Board Design Engineer to join our Head-Up Displays (HUD) electronics team within the ISTAR & EW DivisionIn this role, you will be responsible for full-cycle hardware design, from concept to production, requiring system-level understanding and working cutting-edge technologiesThe job is located in Rehovot   Responsibilities   Full-cycle hardware design: specification, schematic design, PCB layout, and verificationDesign and development of complex electronic circuits, including high-speed digital and analog componentsWork with high-speed interfaces such as DDR4, SerDes, and advanced processorsConduct system-wide analyses to ensure design optimizationCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams (software, FPGA, mechanics, optics, etc.)Support environmental and EMC compliance testingPrepare technical documentation and reports in English Requirements   B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from a recognized universityMinimum 7 years of experience in hardware board designProven experience in full hardware design (specification, schematic, PCB layout, verification)Strong knowledge of high-speed interfaces (DDR4, SerDes), FPGA components, and advanced processorsFluent English (written and verbal) for documentation and communicationStrong teamwork and interpersonal skillsSystem-level understanding of complex electronic systems Advantages   Experience in FPGA and CPLD firmware development (coding, simulation, synthesis, P&R)Familiarity with environmental and EMC standardsExperience in a multidisciplinary development environmentBackground in video and image processing developmentExperience leading engineering teams
