Due to our ongoing expansion, The Boardman Ltd, an established company engaged in the provision of sign erecting services to the property sector, is looking to add a further member to our team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a reputable company which offers full training and competitive rates of pay.
You will be erecting Estate Agents For Sale / To Let signs across Warwickshire, Worcestershire and West Midlands.
Responsibilities:
- Correctly position For Sale/To Let signs in line with Town & Country Planning Act
- Erect boards correctly and safely to company standards
- Change slips and collect boards when instructed
- Provide excellent customer service during Vendor interaction
- Some ladder work is required, adhering to safety guidelines (full training given)
- Duty of care when driving and carrying out duties
Details:
- Full training and ongoing support will be provided
- We will provide a van and fuel for work use, plus all the tools required
- We are offering full time opportunities working 37.5 hours
- Shift start time is typically at 7am from our Warwick warehouse
- A typical daily round will cover between 50 and 130 miles and between 40 & 60 jobs
Requirements:
- Highly motivated to work on own initiative but also flexibility to be part of a wider team and readily cover other team members rounds if required
- Reliable & punctual
- Be capable of working on their own unsupervised (after training)
- This is a physical role requiring a good level of fitness
- Possess good communication and basic IT skills for use of apps
- Possess excellent attention to detail
- A full clean UK driving licence is required
- Due to motor insurance requirements applicants must be 25 years of age
- Some work will involve the use of ladders so previous experience of working at heights is required.
- Practical experience using power tools is required.
- Held a Full clean UK driving licence for minimum of 3 years
Working full time starting at £25,000 per annum. After successful completion of 6 months’ probation period you will be paid a one-off £500 bonus.
We have full time, permanent positions available , Monday – Friday typically 0700 to 1500. You will not be required to work evenings or weekends in this role, but occasional weekend overtime may be available.
