This is an exciting opportunity to join a modern financial institution as a Management Board Member responsible for AML/CFT, Compliance, and Risk Management. The company is expanding its governance framework and is looking for a leader with a strong command of financial regulations, sanctions, and corporate integrity. You’ll oversee critical control functions and ensure that compliance standards remain robust and future-ready in a fast-changing FinTech environment. 🔍 Responsibilities: Provide strategic leadership and oversight of AML/CFT, Compliance, Legal, and Risk functions. Act as the senior executive accountable for full AML/CFT compliance at board level. Supervise and coordinate the work of the AML/Compliance Department, Risk Director, and Legal Counsel. Develop and implement internal governance, risk, and compliance frameworks aligned with regulatory expectations. Ensure full adherence to sanctions, AML, and anti-fraud regulations. Represent the company in communication with regulators and auditors. Drive a culture of compliance awareness and ethical conduct across the organization. Continuously assess and enhance internal processes to meet evolving EU and local regulatory requirements. Report to the Chairperson of the Management Board on key compliance, risk, and legal matters. Support strategic decision-making with compliance insights and risk analysis. 🎓 Requirements: Master’s degree (or higher) in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or Law. Minimum 3 years of experience in AML/CFT and Sanctions compliance within financial services. Proven leadership experience managing AML or Compliance teams at a senior level. Solid understanding of financial regulations, risk management, and corporate governance. Strong analytical and decision-making skills with a hands-on approach.
