We’re seeking a proactive and professional individual to play a crucial role in supporting all Board-related activities within the WPP Company Secretarial team. WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

We’re looking for a professional who brings:

  • Proven Executive Support: Demonstrable experience working within an Executive Office, ideally of a listed, global, organisation, consistently delivering exceptional service to C-Suite executives.
  • Dynamic Organisational Skills: Highly organised, deadline-driven, and adept at maintaining focus and high standards in a fast-paced, often changing environment.
  • Unwavering Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to work, ensuring the highest level of accuracy in all tasks.
  • Confident Communication & Collaboration: An articulate and confident communicator, comfortable working autonomously while also excelling at building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Discretion & Professionalism: experience in expertly managing highly confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
  • Tech Proficiency: Strong proficiency in relevant software packages, including the full Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Responsibilities

As key member of our team, reporting to the Group Company Secretary, you will drive the operational excellence behind all Board-related activities, ensuring the smooth, efficient, and professional functioning of WPP’s governing bodies. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Meeting Logistics: You’ll be the architect behind all UK and international WPP plc Board and committee meetings, meticulously handling all planning, scheduling, and logistical arrangements to ensure flawless execution.
  • Owning the Board Calendar: Taking charge of the annual Board meeting calendar to optimise the Board’s time and effectiveness.
  • Ensuring Seamless Information Delivery: Lead the critical process of collating and distributing Board and Committee papers, setting and enforcing deadlines to guarantee timely and accurate dissemination of important information.
  • Managing Board Finances: Manage all Board-related expenditures and expenses.
  • Support Leadership: Provide crucial meeting and diary management support to the Group Company Secretary and the team, directly contributing to their productivity.
  • Contributing to Operational Flow: Support broader administrative needs to maintain an efficient and organised operation.
