Our Boat Crew will support a dynamic Hawaiian boating experience that will blend fresh air, sunshine, nature, and ocean-curated activities. This person must thoroughly love the outdoors, being with people, and working as part of a team. The ideal candidate will be a proficient swimmer who is warm, outgoing, and helpful. This is a casual position. He or she will be responsible for: Ensuring the boat is in safe and working order before and after each trip Conducting routine maintenance checks and reporting any issues to the captain Assisting with docking, anchoring, and mooring procedures Providing our guests with a memorable experience through personable water activity guides Explaining safety procedures and demonstrating the proper use of life jackets and other safety equipment Assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking the vessel Monitoring weather conditions and sea state, reporting any concerns to the captain Preparing and serving refreshments or meals, if applicable Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the boat's deck and cabin areas Assisting with setting up and breaking down equipment for various water activities Providing basic instruction for water activities such as snorkeling or paddleboarding Responding quickly and efficiently to any emergencies or unexpected situations Working in harmony with the rest of the crew and captain to efficiently operate the vessel Participating in regular safety drills and training sessions Adhering to all maritime laws and company policies The Boat Crew member must be able to perform these duties while maintaining a positive attitude and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the entire boating experience. Qualifications FIRST AID / CPR certification required. Lifeguard certification required. Must be able to pass a drug test. Previous experience in Hawaiian waters, boater's education, basic foiling knowledge, and deep-sea fishing are highly preferred.
