Description Boater’s World Marine Centers is hiring Seasonal Boat Detailers to support our Lake Placid team during peak boating season from May through August. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role focused on keeping boats and marine equipment in clean, polished, ready-for-the-water condition as they move through sales, service, and delivery. What You’ll Be Doing Boat Cleaning & Detailing Pressure wash boats and marine equipment Detail interiors and exteriors to high standards Clean and protect upholstery, canvas, and interior surfaces Buffing, Waxing & Finishing Buff and wax boats to maintain shine and protection Polish metal, glass, and finishing surfaces Ensure every boat is presentation-ready for customers Lot & Team Support Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service lot Assist with preparing boats for delivery and display Support the service team with additional tasks as needed Requirements Must be 17 years or older Strong attention to detail and pride in your work Comfortable working outdoors in Florida weather Physically capable of hands-on work throughout the day Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Willingness to learn — no experience required Schedule & Season Seasonal role: May through August Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Sundays off + one weekday off Saturdays required Full-time hours during the season Overtime may be available based on workload Why This Role Stands Out Great for students or seasonal workers Stay active — no desk work Work around boats every day Fast-paced environment where the day goes quickly Opportunity to gain hands-on experience Potential for full-time opportunities based on performance Looking for a Solid Summer Job? Responsibilities

The Boat Detailer is responsible for cleaning, buffing, and waxing boats to ensure they are in pristine condition for sales and delivery. They also assist with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the service lot and supporting the service team.
