Lake Port Senior Living is recruiting for a hospitality focused Boat Driver to join our team! The Boat Driver is responsible for the timely and safe transporting of residents to various individual and group activities/functions including scenic boat outings on the Community's Pontoon Boat. Here are a few of the daily responsibilities: 1. Picks up and delivers residents to all scheduled activities and appointments where transportation (Car/Pontoon Boat) is needed.  2. Transport residents on scenic boat outings to include safely docking at area lakeside restaurants. 3. Assisting residents through embarking and disembarkation. 4. Completes safety checks of the Pontoon Boat before transporting residents. 5. Refuel the boat prior to docking. QUALIFICATIONS:  1. Maintains the cleanliness of the boat inside and out.  2. Transports boat to service locations for routine preventive maintenance as scheduled by supervisor.  3. Notifies supervisor of necessary repairs and vehicle malfunctions.  4. Immediately notifies supervisor of resident concerns, problems, or incidents.   5. Maintains all tools, equipment and supplies in proper condition.  6. Accomplishes all work in the order of priority set by supervisor.  7. Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.  8. Must be CPR, AED and First Aid certified.  9. Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.  PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:  1. Must have the ability to perform routine preventive maintenance on boat according to schedule. Keep vessel clean.  2. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds for handling boat equipment, lines, etc. 3. May be exposed to the elements (rain, cold, heat) for short periods of time.  4. Must have good navigation skills and maneuver a pontoon boat on lake waters in case of inclement weather. Many roles in the community may require that we ask about your vaccination status.
