DESCRIPTION:

Sherwood Marine Centre is seeking a reliable and experienced Boat Hauler to join our team on a contract or part-time basis. The ideal candidate will be capable of cross-border transport into the U.S., picking up newly manufactured boats and trailers, and delivering them to marinas across the local area and beyond.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid driver’s license with clean abstract.
• Capable of crossing the U.S. border for work (passport, required permits, etc.).
• Experience hauling large trailers/boats.
• Reliable truck and equipment (for contractors).
• Proof of commercial or liability insurance (for contractors).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Haul and deliver boats and trailers from U.S. manufacturers into Canada.
• Transport boats to and from marinas, storage yards, and customer locations.
• Ensure safe, secure loading and unloading of all vessels.
• Coordinate schedules for pickups and deliveries with our service team.
• Maintain logs and necessary border documentation.
