Boat Room Manufacturing Technician Location: Greenwood, South Carolina, United States (On-site) Job Scope: A Boat Room Manufacturing Technician works in a high-performing team responsible for maintaining and supplying graphite boats to production tools to support continuous manufacturing flow. Under general supervision, removes lifetime graphite boats and performs cleaning, baking, saturation handling, calibration, and pin replacement following work instructions. Works closely with production technicians to coordinate boat removal and replacement in production tools. Monitors boat cycle counts to prevent overdue usage and production interruption. Performs inspection, minor repairs, and responds to graphite boat related issues. Records operational data, prepares shift reports, and performs shift pass-down communication. This position reports to the Shift Supervisor and the work schedule are fixed day or night shift of 12hrs 4-3 system. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Maintain and supply graphite boats to production tools to support continuous manufacturing operations. * Remove graphite boats that have reached lifetime cycle limits from production equipment. * Perform graphite boat cleaning, baking, saturation handling, and calibration according to work instructions. * Inspect graphite boats, replace pins as required, and ensure boats meet quality standards before returning to production. * Work closely with production technicians to coordinate timely boat removal and replacement. * Track graphite boat cycle counts and monitor boat status to prevent overdue usage. * Monitor the operational status of graphite boat cleaners and ovens at the beginning of each shift. * Respond to graphite boat related issues and perform basic troubleshooting or minor repairs when necessary. * Record operational data, maintain boat tracking information, and prepare shift reports. * Provide clear shift pass-down communication to ensure continuity of operations between shifts. * Improve and maintain a clean work environment by following 5S housekeeping and work area cleaning standards. * Improve personal capability by learning and performing improved levels by developing improved standards of operation. * Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Must be able to operate and maintain automated equipment, computer systems and/or product distribution systems.  * Ability to motivate and enable self and others to achieve goals by leveraging strengths and removing barriers to success.  * Ability to effectively communicate to multiple groups (peers, managers, etc.) * Demonstrate motivation and be a self-starter.  * Must be able to comprehend and document data.  * Must possess the analytical ability to understand safety hazards and trainable duties as put forth in safety / training programs. * Can fix and troubleshoot routine and non-routine problems. * Performs other tasks as assigned by team leadership or Supervisor. Able to read, speak, and understand English.  * Knowledge and ability to work on a computer or similar device Education and Experience: * Ideally a high school diploma or similar * Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a manufacturing operation or similar experience  Working conditions: * Must be able to stand and walk up to 90% of the shift. * Wear the required PPE all times while in the manufacturing area. Other personal protective equipment is required as departmental policies or job tasks dictate. * Must be able to lift and position objects weighing up to 66 lbs., up to 75% of the work time (lift by 2 people).
