Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Boat Shipping Import Operations Coordinator to join our client’s dynamic team. The Import Operations Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing the import process, ensuring that all shipments are processed efficiently and in compliance with regulations. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems for effective inventory tracking.
  • Understanding of freight forwarding logistics and experienced with NVOCC
  • Experience with order fulfillment processes to ensure timely shipment of products.
  • Strong basic math skills for accurate inventory management and order processing.
  • Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Understanding of e-commerce logistics to support online sales initiatives.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage the importation of goods from international suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations and documentation requirements.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and order fulfillment processes.
  • Oversee shipping and receiving activities, including loading and unloading of goods while keeping customers informed.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory using AS400 or similar systems.
  • Collaborate with logistics providers to optimize shipping routes and delivery schedules.
  • Assist in resolving any issues related to shipments, including delays or discrepancies.
  • Support e-commerce operations by ensuring timely delivery of products to customers.
